Nicole Eads, DVM

Dr. Eads may be a familiar face for many clients as she joins Old Waterloo Equine Clinic, after completing an internship at Blue Ridge Equine Clinic in Charlottesville, VA.  Nicole acquired her undergraduate degree in Animal Sciences from Virginia Tech in 2001.  The course work for this degree emphasized business and equine management.  She then attanded the the Virginia-Maryland Regional College of Veterinary Medicine, again focusing on equine medicine.  A few months after graduating in 2005, Nicole married her high school sweetheart, Brian.  They currently reside in Warrenton, VA with their dog, Blair and cat, Piglet.

In regard to past-times and hobbies, Nicole hopes to get involved in eventing again, someday soon.  For now, however, she is content trail riding and enjoying the company of her Connemara/Thoroughbred mare Lexi and Welsh/Thoroughbred gelding, Parker.  Nicole also retains an enthusiasm for travel developed while growing up as an "Army brat".  Most recently she and Brian toured Italy for their postponed honeymoon.

Nicole's interest in horses and veterinary medicine is broad.  She holds memberships with several state and national organizations including AVMA, VVMA, AAEP, VAEP, USAE, and USEA.  She is excited to be joining Old Waterloo whose patients run the gamet of ages, breeds, and disciplines.
