Nicole Eads, DVM
Dr. Eads may be a familiar face for many clients as she joins Old
Waterloo Equine Clinic, after completing an internship at Blue Ridge
Equine Clinic in Charlottesville, VA. Nicole acquired her
undergraduate degree in Animal Sciences from Virginia Tech in
2001. The course work for this degree emphasized business and
equine management. She then attanded the the
Virginia-Maryland
Regional College of Veterinary Medicine, again focusing on equine
medicine. A few months after graduating in 2005, Nicole
married
her high school sweetheart, Brian. They currently reside in
Warrenton, VA with their dog, Blair and cat, Piglet.
In regard to past-times and hobbies, Nicole hopes to get involved in
eventing again, someday soon. For now, however, she is
content
trail riding and enjoying the company of her Connemara/Thoroughbred
mare Lexi and Welsh/Thoroughbred gelding, Parker. Nicole also
retains an enthusiasm for travel developed while growing up as an "Army
brat". Most recently she and Brian toured Italy for their
postponed honeymoon.
Nicole's interest in horses and veterinary medicine is broad.
She
holds memberships with several state and national organizations
including AVMA, VVMA, AAEP, VAEP, USAE, and USEA. She is
excited
to be joining Old Waterloo whose patients run the gamet of ages,
breeds, and disciplines.
